The Invalid Limit explicitly marks a license as invalid.
When the license is validated DeployLX immediately considers the license invalid. There are two common scenarios where the Invalid limit might be used.
| Permanently Disabling a License | When you use a License Server limit to remotely monitor a license you can permanently disable the license by adding an Invalid limit to the Validate response. |
| Marking a License State Invalid | When combined with the State limit, you can explicitly mark a state as invalid - even when it might otherwise be valid. Or it can be combined with the Reset & State limits to reset one limit when another is invalid. |
